Food

Cooked lunches are available at a reasonable charge.

School meals are cooked on site by Caterlink. The menu provides a nutritionally balanced meal with vegetarian and salad options. Meals include a main course and a dessert; fruit is always an option. Meals are paid for in advance and booked via the Dinners tab on MCAS. All meals must be booked by midnight on Tuesdays.

Dinners are charged at £2.53 per day.

Parents on Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance are able to claim free school meals if they notify the school office. The children in school will not be made aware that some meals are provided free. Parents may use the Free School Meals service if they wish, but even if they only want the occasional meal it is important for us to know.

For further information please see

If preferred, your child is welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. However, as we are a nut free school, please do not include in packed lunches nuts, or products made with nuts. We would also request for health and safety reasons, your child does not bring hot, fizzy or caffeinated drinks to school.

Packed Lunches

We promote healthy eating in school and have great hot school dinners, which include vegetables and fruit each day. Children’s packed lunches should contain suitable foods to sustain them through a busy and active school day. If you need some lunchbox inspiration, please this site for ideas for healthier nutritious options.
