This Term's Christian Value is....Friendship!
Learning to be a good friend, someone who can be trusted and is loyal, takes a lifetime. Talk together about how friends come in all shapes and sizes. Some are young, some are old. Some are always there, some we see only occasionally.
A Christian Perspective:
Christians believe they can call God their friend because of the relationship made possible through Jesus.
Questions to Consider:
• How do we as a school support and encourage friendship bonds by providing opportunities for children to work co-operatively and collaboratively in pairs and in groups.
• How does the school community find ways to support and include pupils who might be left out of friendship groups?
• How does the school help pupils to restore broken friendships and promote reconciliation?
• How does the school help children know where they might receive advice and support if they need it?
